The National Council of Vocational Training (NCVT) makes available the NCVT MIS ITI CBT Admit Card 2024 on its official website. The NCVT is responsible for conducting exams of the ITI courses for the 1st year and 2nd year students every year.
Students who are appearing for the exams of the first, second, third, and/or fourth semesters of the ITI exams are required to visit the NCVT official portal to access their respective admit cards.
The NCVT ITI Admit Card contains details such as exam reporting time, date and center of exam, and name and registration number of the candidate. ITI students are mandated to bring their respective admit cards to the exam hall for the examiners to verify their identity. Only after checking the Admit Cards of the students, the examiners allow the students to give the exams. Students who do not carry their admit cards to the exam hall are not allowed to sit for the exams.
The NCVT offers an array of vocational trade programs in different trades. The ITI vocational courses are designed for students to acquire skills in the chosen trades. The All India Trade Test (AITT), the Apprentice Training Scheme (ATS), and Craftsman Training Scheme (CTS) are among the different ITI exams. Upon completion of the ITI courses, students receive the National Trade Certificates (NTCs). ITI graduates then become eligible to search for jobs in their respective trades and advance their careers.
In India, across various states, there are several vocational training centers; these are inclusive of the government-run Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs) and privately-run Industrial Training Centers (ITCs). The skill-based training centers were started in accordance with the Craftsmen Scheme that was introduced during the 1950s by the Union Government of India. The primary objective of constituting these training centers was to provide a skilled workforce to companies; the industries were facing a shortage of competent manpower.
The National Council for Vocational Training is the body that is entrusted with the responsibility of conducting the trade courses. Through the State Council for Vocational Training (SCVT), the NCVT implements structured policies in the different states. The aspirants can enroll in a variety of engineering and non-engineering trade courses, as per their interests.

NCVT ITI Admit Card: Steps to Download
- Start by visiting the home page of the NCVT official portal
- Next, you should search for and then click the “ITI Admit Card” link
- After that, the login page appears on the screen; continue by entering your login credentials
- When done, you can view your admit card on the screen
- Check your admit card to ascertain all details are correct, after which you should download a copy
- Keep a print copy of your ITI Admit Card to carry to the hall for verification purposes
