In the Indian state of Assam, the Directorate of Employment and Craftsmen Training of Assam, which comes under the Ministry of Labour & Employment of the Government of Assam, is the examining body of the Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs). As per the guidelines of the National Council of Vocational Training (NCVT), the Director-General of Employment & Training conducts the training programs of the technical institutes.
In India, across all the states, several ITI centers have been instituted by the Indian Government with the objective of making technical education available for those candidates who want to become technically-trained professionals. A series of engineering and non-engineering trades can be selected from and the respective courses can be enrolled in – by the aspirants.
In Assam, as per the Craftsman Training Scheme, the Directorate imparts technical knowledge through the several Government-run ITIs. The training centers aim to conduct systematic training for providing skilled / semi-skilled labor force to the varied industries. Besides, the youth develop skills to engage in the chosen trades or become self-employed; thus, reducing the level of unemployment in the country.
Assam NCVT ITI Result 2024
The results of the Assam NCVT ITI Results for all 4 semesters (1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th ones) are posted on the NCVT’s official website, https://ncvtmis.gov.in/. Upon visiting the site, the candidates have to enter the required details (including semester name and roll number). Then, the results are downloadable.
