Jammu and Kashmir ITI Result 2024

In India’s state of Jammu & Kashmir (J & K), the managing body of the technical institutes is the Department of Technical Education (DTE) of the Government of J & K. DTE’s official website is https://www.jkdte.org/index.htm. The body was established in the year 1981 to administer the affairs of the institutes providing vocational training in the state. At the time of commencement, the state had 7 Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs). Presently, there are 60 ITIs (54 are Government-run and 6 are private ones) in the state. The ITIs across India are run as per the guidelines as laid down by the National Council of Vocational Training (NCVT).

The technical institutes were started in accordance with the 1950’s Craftsmen Scheme, with the aim of imparting technical knowledge to give the aspirants a means of livelihood. Also, in turn, the shortage of skilled labor in the varied industries is bridged.

After completing the trade courses, the successful candidates are conferred with the Diploma/Certificate in Craftsmanship. They are, then, eligible to avail the available employment opportunities in the respective trades.

The candidates can view the results of the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th semesters of the trade programs through the official website of NCVT, https://ncvtmis.gov.in/. After entering basic details such as roll number and semester name, the results are downloadable.
